Our core purpose is to strengthen communities by engaging their members in the development and implementation of strategies and programs that enhance preparedness. Our focus is on community-based emergency management programs where everything we do is practitioner driven, and we insist that the communities we serve be a part of the development of any initiative with which we are involved.

We commit ourselves to taking the steps to gain vital input from practitioners, including one-on-one engagements, focus groups, user working groups, and establishing communities of practice.
