VALERIE JOHNSON
I began my professional career in 2009 after graduating from the University of Maryland- College Park with a B.S. in Economics and concentration in International business and law. After working for a local law office and financial company, I wasn't quite sure where my career would take me next. I was fortunate to become part of the G&H team in the summer of 2010.
G&H International now provides me the opportunity to work for a company that is dedicated to improving emergency response and developing programs to enhance community preparedness. I was unintentionally exposed to the importance of disaster relief programs at a young age. I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska where community preparedness is vital. From oil spills to blizzards to avalanches, being prepared can become the difference between life and death in a moment's notice.
I marvel at the idea of supporting a business that puts the community needs before its own without compromising its standards.
Outside of G&H, you can find me exploring everything the district has to offer, with friends, running, or traveling.
