DHS Capacity Building Webinar Series
The first responder community is a large and fragmented community with relatively small budgets. As a result they often don’t have the ability to get “expert” guidance on new technologies, and processes that will improve their capacity in such critical areas as communications interoperability, information sharing, situational awareness, cyber security and a multitude of areas they have to deal with in order to help build sustainable capacity.
Currently, G&H develops and manages a national online training series for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security First Responder Group that is made available for free via online webinars to the first responder community across the nation. G&H designs and develops training curriculum, and plans, promotes, and facilitates the training events.
The webinar series feature subject matter experts and national leaders who present on advancements in the fields of science and technology, and provide practical instruction on how to apply best practices, research, and lessons learned to help participants improve their capabilities in order to ensure our homeland is safe, secure, and resilient against terrorism and other hazards. Webinar participants benefit from an interactive and easily accessible learning experience without having to leave their office.
