G&H Joins Emergency Information Community Group
G&H International Services, Inc. recently joined the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Emergency Information Community Group!
The goal of the group is to facilitate real world usage of semantic web technologies for the exchange of emergency information by designing standards to ease sharing, handling, usage and integration of data and data applications. The group aims to engage with practitioners across all levels, provide an annotated view of standard vocabularies (ontologies) that are useful to the field, developing new vocabularies when needed, and to develop best practices for the use of semantic web technologies in the field of emergency information.
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international community that develops open standards to ensure the long-term growth of the web.
