The NISC and DHS S&T to Present Mutual Aid Webinar

The National Information Sharing Consortium (NISC) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) First Responders Group (FRG) will co-host a webinar on April 17 titled, Mutual Aid: Tools and Technologies to Discover, Request, Acquire, and Track Resources.

This event will prepare participants to:

  • Provide an overview of existing national mutual aid coordination underway and available resource management tools that can be integrated with mutual aid technologies.
  • Explain the role, functionalities and user communities of several selected systems: EMAC OS, MASS, Mutual Aid Net, ROSS, and how to access and use these capabilities
  • Explain the use of the RTLT web services API and how to use the MRP data model
  • Explain the purpose and functionality of the Mission Explorer/Mission Ready Package tool and how it is used to discover planned missions and MRPs
